Interior Layout Design

Smart, functional space planning.

Good interior design starts with smart layout planning. We help you reconfigure kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and entire interior spaces to improve flow, usability, and appearance.

Our interior layout service focuses on practical solutions that make everyday living better, from cabinetry adjustments to wall removals and full-space reorganization. Using 3D views and detailed plans, we help you visualize the updated layout and make confident decisions during your renovation.

Common Questions

Can I remove or move a wall?

Often, yes, but it depends on whether the wall is load-bearing. Removing a load-bearing wall generally needs an engineer’s review. We show exactly which walls change on the drawings and prepare them for engineering review when needed.

Do I need a permit for an interior renovation?

In Whitehorse, a building permit is required to renovate an existing building or to finish a previously unfinished area, such as a basement. If the work changes your plumbing system, such as moving a sink or adding a bathroom, a separate plumbing permit is needed. Replacing a faucet, fixture, or water heater without changing the piping doesn’t need one.

Can I see the new layout before we build?

Yes. We use 3D views and detailed plans so you can visualize the updated space and make confident decisions during your renovation.

What rooms can you help with?

Kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and whole interior spaces, from cabinetry adjustments to wall removals and complete reorganizations.

Permit requirements can change. Confirm current requirements with the City of Whitehorse (or the Government of Yukon outside city limits) before you build.
